About The Boat
The Jamesey Boy was custom built in Captain Ralph's backyard by Captain Ralph and his Uncle, Lee Craddock and launched in July of 2006. Measuring at 48' and packing 1160 Horse Power delivered from twin Caterpillar motors, the Jamesey Boy is built for comfort. The "Express Style" of the boat allows for the fisherman to sit in the shade while still maintaining full visibility of the lines and the baits in the water. This style also makes it much easier to partake in alternative fishing methods such as "Sight Casting" for Cobia.
About The Captain
Captain Ralph Craddock is a 3rd generation captain on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Born in Manns Harbor, NC and coming from a family who are almost exclusively "Watermen", it is no surprise that that Ralph has been on the water, learning his family's traditions, since he was four years old. (Yes, you read that right, FOUR years old!). Fishing is a way of life for Captain Ralph, and it is the way that he supports his family of three sons and wife, Helen. When asked what his favorite part of running the boat he built, Captain Ralph always says, "My favorite part? That's easy. My favorite part is seeing the look of joy and excitement on a persons face when they catch their first fish."
